With extensive experience delivering Tier-1 broadcast projects, OB integrations, and complex IP workflows across Australia and internationally, Ryan Campbell joined the $860 million, 64,000 sqm city campus at Edith Cowan University as an opportunity to help architect a fully integrated broadcast network within an academic environment.

The campus features seven theatres, cinematography and post-production suites, dual music recording control rooms, and a fully IP-enabled seven-camera studio leveraging technologies from Lawo, Ross Video, and Riedel Communications. Its scale rivals national broadcast facilities while operating within a student-focused learning environment. Supporting the Systems Integrator, Diversified, Ryan contributed to the design and delivery of the facility’s SMPTE ST 2110 infrastructure, coordinating multi-vendor systems and planning long-term scalability to ensure the campus functions as a professional broadcast centre while delivering world-class educational outcomes.
