In 2022, Gravity Media was awarded the contract to deliver the Trackside and London Hub broadcast infrastructure for the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. Ryan Campbell served as Principal Technical Project Manager, responsible for the technical planning, deployment and operational delivery of the trackside broadcast systems across the global race calendar. The role involved designing and delivering temporary broadcast compounds at international city-centre circuits, integrating OB production facilities, RF camera system - suppliers, all trackside cameras, special cameras on track and in garage, commentary positions and global broadcast distribution.
Operating within extremely compressed build schedules and complex urban environments, the project required precise technical coordination, international logistics management and reliable broadcast delivery for one of the world’s most technically demanding motorsport productions.
